Whipped Cream Recipe
Ingredients :
- 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- Chill Your Tools: For best results, chill your mixing bowl and beaters or whisk in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before starting. Cold equipment helps the cream whip better. or you can do take a bowl of cold water and ice. Place another bowl on top of this bowl. Pour the cream into the top bowl.
- Pour the cold heavy cream into the chilled mixing bowl.Begin beating the cream with a mixer or whisker.
- When the cream starts to thicken slightly, add 1 tablespoon of sugar to help it whip faster. Continue beating with the mixer until the cream is thick.Be careful not to over-whip, or it can turn into butter.
- To check if the cream is ready, carefully lift the bowl. If the cream doesn’t fall out of the bowl, it’s ready for garnishing.
- Once whipped, gently spread or pipe the whipped cream over your cooled cake. You can use a spatula or a piping bag with your choice of tip for decorative effects.
- Serve the cake immediately, or keep it refrigerated until ready to serve.
